Product License & Terms of Use

These Product License & Terms of Use govern the purchase, download, installation, and use of Stylus Sound Tools digital preset products. By purchasing, downloading, installing, or using a Stylus Sound Tools product, you agree to these terms.
1. License Grant
Subject to these terms, Stylus Media Group LLC grants the purchaser a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the purchased Stylus Sound Tools preset pack in personal and commercial music productions.
The license permits use of the presets in music, audio productions, recordings, mixes, masters, audiovisual productions, and other finished creative works created by the licensed user.
The customer may commercially release, distribute, license, monetize, broadcast, perform, or otherwise use finished productions created using the presets.
Ownership of the Stylus Sound Tools preset files themselves is not transferred to the customer.
2. Individual-User License
Each purchase licenses the product to one individual user only.
A purchased copy may not be shared between multiple people, including employees, engineers, producers, contractors, collaborators, studio personnel, or members of a company, team, or organization.
A studio, company, or organization requiring use by more than one person must obtain a separate license for each individual user unless Stylus Sound Tools later offers a separate multi-user license.
3. Computer Limit
The licensed individual may install and use the purchased preset pack on up to two computers owned by that same individual.
The two-computer allowance does not permit use by a second person.
4. Commercial Production Use
The licensed user may use the presets in commercial music and audio productions without paying additional royalties or license fees to Stylus Sound Tools for that production use.
The resulting audio production may be commercially released or delivered to clients.
5. Preset Modification
The licensed user may adjust or modify preset settings as necessary for their own productions.
Modification of a preset does not create a right to redistribute, sell, share, sublicense, or include the original or modified preset file in another preset pack, template, downloadable product, library, or commercial product.
6. Prohibited Uses
Redistribute the preset files.
Resell the preset files.
Share the preset files with another person.
Upload the preset files to a file-sharing service, forum, cloud repository, marketplace, or public download location.
Repackage the preset files.
Include the preset files in another preset pack, sample pack, template, course download, software product, library, bundle, or other distributed product.
Give the preset files or license to another person.
Sublicense the preset files.
Sell, assign, or otherwise transfer the license.
Make the preset files available for use by multiple users under one purchase.
7. Non-Transferability
The license is non-transferable.
The purchaser may not sell, assign, give, sublicense, or otherwise transfer the purchased license or preset files to another person or entity.
8. Product Updates
Customers are entitled to free updates to the specific Stylus Sound Tools preset pack/version they purchased.
Free updates may include corrections, compatibility fixes, documentation changes, maintenance revisions, and reasonable additions to the existing product.
A substantially rebuilt or expanded product that is marketed as a new edition or new product may be sold separately and is not automatically included with a prior purchase.
9. Third-Party Software
Stylus Sound Tools preset products may require separately purchased third-party software.
The purchase of a Stylus Sound Tools preset pack does not include a license to FabFilter Pro-Q or any other third-party software required to load or use the presets.
Customers are responsible for owning and maintaining properly licensed compatible third-party software.
10. Ownership
Stylus Sound Tools preset files, product documentation, product packaging, branding, graphics, and other original product materials remain the intellectual property of their respective owner(s) and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Purchase provides a license to use the product under these terms. It does not transfer ownership of the preset files or related intellectual property.
11. Termination
The license remains valid so long as the licensed user complies with these terms.
A material violation of these terms may terminate the customer's license to use or possess the distributed preset files, subject to applicable law.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
Stylus Sound Tools products are provided on an “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
Audio results depend on source material, routing, gain structure, software configuration, production decisions, and other factors outside the control of Stylus Media Group LLC. No preset is represented as producing an identical result on all source material.
Except for rights that cannot legally be excluded, no additional warranty is made regarding a particular creative, technical, or commercial result.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Stylus Media Group LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or similar damages arising from the use or inability to use a Stylus Sound Tools product.
Any limitation of liability remains subject to rights and remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
14. Third-Party Names and Trademarks
Third-party product names are used only to identify compatibility or required software.
Stylus Sound Tools and Stylus Media Group LLC are not affiliated with or endorsed by third-party software manufacturers unless expressly stated otherwise.
FabFilter, Pro-Q, and other third-party names and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
15. Governing Law
These terms will be governed by the laws applicable to Stylus Media Group LLC, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights that may apply based on the customer's jurisdiction.
16. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.

Support requests will normally be verified using the email address associated with the purchase and the applicable Shopify order number.
